The UP Oblation, the iconic symbol that of the University Of Philippines (UP) represents the "love of freedom, search for truth, and love of country." It is erected to serve as a reminder of the 333 years of Spanish rule in The Philippines. It is sculpted in concrete but was painted to look like bronze and is now currently at the UP Diliman Main Library building.
