Da Vinci's Plane
2000
Wood Carving
12 x 244 x 210

Carved by Inson Wongsam
The carving is most likely inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's many ideas of flight machines. The sculpture's smoothness radiates a soft yet powerful strength. "The beautiful grain of wood reflects life and journey through time. The arranged shape and free form is the combination of [the artist's] creative imagination with the condition and limitations [...] in life." (Kunawong. S., p. 73).
